Iceland volcanic eruptions: Red alert again!

Iceland has restricted travel around a cluster of volcanos, following an eruption near the Dyngjujokull glacier just after midnight.

A red alert warning issued by the Icelandic Met Office – the highest possible – indicates that “an eruption is imminent or in progress, and that a significant emission of ash into the atmosphere is likely”.
